Apex Mountain Resort

Apex is a medium size resort located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. Light dry snow, over 1,000 acres of fall line skiing with a respectable 2,000 foot vertical, covered by 19 feet of average total snowfall per season.

One of the most memorable runs I've ever had was back in the 80's on a run called Gunbarrel... Everything about the run was just great... Narrow tight line, perfect pitch and the snow was just piling up that day. Can't wait to re-visit to see if it's still the same!

Apex is a great destination resort value, but for a truly epic adventure, you might want to add a few more stops to the itinerary, such as Kelowna's Big White and Silver Star near Vernon.
