Had a bit of a slow start this morning so decided to wait for the afternoon session, which I find to usually a bit quieter than the late morning session. Overall, the lift lines weren’t too bad, but a fair bit of crowding on Upper Fork and Lower Jasey Jay.
Snow was soft all over and outside of a few brown patches and a few rocks, the snow held up reasonably well considering the amount of rain we got on Friday.
The mountain also got a few centimetres of natural snow last night and this morning, which not only helped matters on the runs, but also helped to just make things feel a bit more wintery all around.
The upcoming forecast is looking ugly with considerably more rain, so if you’re planning on getting up there this week, tomorrow would be the smart call.
